Our meeting rooms are available for individuals, groups, and organizations whose primary purpose is the promotion of cultural, educational, and community activities. Please note that community and commercial use is only permitted when the facilities are not required for the service or administrative functions of the Library. Priority use of Community Spaces will be given to Library programs, co-sponsored programs and other Library purposes, Library-related groups, non-profit community groups and organizations, City of Niagara Falls departments, agencies, boards, commissions and charitable organizations.

Room Details & Layout Options
Upon requesting your room booking, a number of setup options are available. Chairs and tables can be requested in different configuations, which change the capacity limits of the room.
Our rooms are available at hourly, and full-day rates, rates differing for non-profit groups. Non-profit organizations are associations, clubs, or societies that are not charities and are organized and operated exclusively for social welfare, civic improvement, pleasure, recreation, or any other purpose except profit. The Non-Profit rate is half that of the regular rate. 13 % HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) apply to all community space rentals. There is no charge for cancellation with notice of at least 10 business days. See a full breakdown in the chart below;

Our community spaces are not available for private social functions such as parties, business activities such as direct sales, fundraising events or bazaars, or for programs not suited to the Library's physical facilities. The maximum number of bookings per month per person or organization is three, and bookings can only be made six months in advance. Multiple monthly consecutive bookings are not permitted. The 6 month booking time has been put in place to ensure we give the opportunity to rent a space to as many community members as possible.
Please note that a library card is not required for renting a community space. Community spaces are only available during library open hours.

It is your responsibility to publicize and promote your event. Please do not imply any unauthorized endorsement by the Library, and note that the use of the Library logo on promotional items is strictly prohibited.
Payment is required 10 business days prior to the booking date. Bookings made within 10 business days of the date require payment within 2 business days or before the start of the event. Bookings are accepted no more than 6 months in advance. Fee information is further down on this page.
Insurance is required for all community space rentals. If you prefer, you can purchase insurance through the library at a minimal cost per meeting or event. Insurance through the library is provided by GameDay Insurance. Alternatively, you can submit your own Certificate of Insurance (COI) which must be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 in commercial liability. The COI must also name the Niagara Falls Public Library as additionally insured and list what you will be using the space for. Please email your COI to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 10 business days in advance. If the COI has still not been submitted 2 business days before your booking, it may be cancelled.
Additional Equipment for Rent at Victoria Avenue Location
Rental equipment can be included when booking a community space at Victoria. As equipment is limited, we highly recommend that you reserve it at the time of booking to ensure availability.

- Young and Chang Baby Grand Piano - Available in the LaMarsh Room, may be booked in order to use the Young and Chang Baby Grand piano for personal practice.
