Senior Rugby Team lost only one game during the regular schedule. They defeated teams from Stamford, Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Welland and St. Catharines to win the Niagara District Championship. It was quite an accomplishment, as the 1944 N.F.C.V.I. Championship Rugby Team was rebuilt after a number of the players graduated. The 1945 N.F.C.V.I. Senior Rugby Team were extremely proud to bring back the Niagara District Championship trophy for a second year in a row. |
