Notes  Niagara Falls Heritage Foundation Government of Canada Local Initiatives Grant AK 2403-9 1974 - 1975 ; Research by George Seibel ; artistic recreation from a sterograph in the private collection of Thomas Mahoney, Buffalo, NY ; In 1844 the winding stairs at the landing on the US side were augmented by an Incline railway cut into the Gorge bank at the top, opereated by water power. A stairway was incorporated into the structure, running beside the Incline tracks ; F-7 ;
