| Austin Morse a cabinet maker arrived in Drummondville in 1826. He soon combined his trade with undertaking, a not uncommon practice in early 19th century settlements. The business was carried on by his descendants for many years. It is still (2004) in operation under the name Morse & Son Chapel and Morgan Funeral Homes ; |
