Jewish Heritage Month

Did you know we celebrate Jewish heritage in May? A unanimous bill was passed by Parliament in 2018 to mark Canadian Jewish Heritage Month in May across Canada. This month is a chance for all of us to celebrate Jewish Canadians and the important contributions they have made to culture, science, politics, and more. You can read more about the Canadian Jewish Heritage Month Act here.

To learn more about why Jewish Heritage Month is important, check out the site Jewish Heritage Month here.

There are so many talented authors in Canada with Jewish heritage so we wanted to highlight just a few that we have in our collection. Check out a larger list here.
