The Best Mothers in Books
Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and we wanted to give a shout out to some of the best mothers - and maternal figures - in literature. Motherhood can mean many things and we acknowledge that, while Mother’s Day is considered a positive holiday to celebrate the mothers in our lives, it can be a difficult day for many.
We compiled ten mothers from fiction that stand out from the rest but the list below is by no means exhaustive!
