"Broken Soup" by Jenny Valentine is one of the best books I have read this year (and yes, I have read all of the "Twilight" series books this year). I would say it is appropriate reading for ages 13 and up. Fifteen year old Rowan's family is a mess. Her family is torn apart in the aftermath of a family bereavement.
