Oh boy! this was an excellent book. It catches you right from the start. It has the usual spell casting witch, the out of control mob carrying pitchforks and burning torches and so on. However, there is a lot in between that makes it so hard to put this book down. The beginning starts off with our main character running through the woods. She has no idea why. Is she running from something? or to something? She has a name. She has a name? but what is it? Where did she come from? Eventually, she hears dogs chasing her and realizes at least THAT'S what she's running from, but again, why? Of course the dogs to catch up to our character and as the last dog jumps up and gives her a bite on the leg, our poor little girl faints dead away....
