Notes
| Niagara Falls Heritage Foundation Government of Canada Local Initiatives Grant AK 2403-9 1974 - 1975 ; research by George Seibel ; In 1827 Thomas Barnett built a stone residence near Table Rock which he intended for a residence. He made it into a Museum instead, with an annex further down the River. When Saul Davis built his Table Rock adjoining Barnett's, with an observation tower, Barnett added an observation tower to his building. After the opening of Barnett's large new Museum in 1860, this Table Rock House became a souvenir store called "Canadian Indian Store" ; |
