Title | Concrete flume at Whirlpool St Davids Buried Gorge |
Creator
| Tiplin, Albert H. |
Notes
| Used in the book Our Romantic Niagara by Albert H. Tiplin. This flume was built in order to irrigate the buried gorge. Since the gorge is filled with glacial debris, it would not be able to hold water naturally - by building a concrete sluice, the cache is reinforced and the reservoir remains full. |
