Out of town buses drew up to the canopied area and the passengers disembarked and then went downstairs to the bus station below. The Rainbow Carillon Tower is under construction. The four square smokestacks to the left of the Carillon Tower are the Aluminum Company of America, formerly the Pittsburg Reduction Company. F. Notes  ...a popular spot for a hamburg and coffee circa mid 1930s. Victoria Avenue and Bridge Street intersection was the location of the first stoplight in Niagara Falls, it was operated when a car passed over a rubber pad in the road. Installed in the early 1930's it was a point of interest for young boys, myself, included, who would walk there from blocks away just to see the lights operate - George Seibel ;

The 176 needs you now ;
