Reading & Writing, two of the Rs, are the two most basic skills you can have. They prepare you for life ahead. I know, I know ,that's a long way away for you, but start young and who knows where you can go!

Myth Writing Workshop - Author Jane Yolen show you how to write a myth — a story that explains a natural phenomenon in as creative way. You'll also find writing strategies and a few warm-up activities to get you started. Last but not least, you'll write a myth of your own

Read*Write*Think - this educational website aims to provide teachers and students with "the highest quality practices and resources in reading and language arts nstruction." It features searchable and browsable lesson plans for grades K-12, annotated Internet links, and interactive student materials

Spelling City - a great site for students, parents and teachers, basic membership is free but a subscription is required for some elements
