Non-Profit and Not-For-Profit Organizations can distribute their publications in the library after staff approval at or near the library’s community bulletin board. Library staff will determine how long the publications will be distributed and how many will be distributed at one time.

Library staff may permit others to distribute some non-daily/non-weekly publications on an occasional basis (example: quarterly senior citizens newspaper). Not permitted are private publications, advertisements for personal services or items for sale, retail or wholesale advertisements, religious tracts, job postings, rental announcements, material violating the Ontario Human Rights Code, etc. The Library is not responsible for the loss, defacement or return of notices. Distribution of publications does not indicate endorsement by the Library of the policies, beliefs, ideas, issues or events promoted by the publishers.
