Non-Profit and Not-For-Profit Organizations can post a notice on the library’s community bulletin board after staff approval. Library staff will determine how long the notice will be posted and may not approve a notice deemed to be too large in size. The name of the non-profit and not-for-profit organization must be clearly and prominently shown. Not permitted are private notices, advertisements for personal services or items for sale, retail or wholesale advertisements, religious tracts, job postings, rental announcements, material violating the Ontario Human Rights Code, etc. The Library is not responsible for the loss, defacement or return of notices. Posting of notices on library bulletin boards does not indicate endorsement by the Library of the policies, beliefs, ideas, issues or events promoted by non-profit and not-for profit organizations.
