You now have the option to pay your library charges online using a credit card or bank account. It’s fast, simple, convenient and secure.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Visit the library’s website at www.nflibrary.ca.
  2. Click on “Pay Balance Online” under “Borrower Services” in the right side column.
  3. Enter your library card and PIN number. A PIN number may have been given to you at registration. If not, come into the library to get one. Or telephone or email us if you have already given us your email address and we’ll email your PIN number to you.
  4. Review the balance due and modify your payment amount if desired.
  5. Proceed to PayPal to complete the payment.
  6. Print the receipt for your records.
  7. Payments will appear in Borrower Services - Payment History within minutes. On rare occasions, factors beyond our control may delay payment and require manual processing by library staff.
  8. To pay charges for library programs, please contact us first by phone or email. You must have a library card .

If you have any questions speak to a staff member, or telephone us at 905-356-8080 or email us.

All online payments are processed by PayPal. Your credit card or bank account information is never communicated to the library.

In order to recover, in part, the cost of providing this optional service, there will be a $1.50 convenience fee applied to your account each time an online payment is completed.

The Library also accepts donations via PayPal. Look for the orange “Donate” button on our website’s HomePage.

You do not need a PayPal account to use this payment service. The service allows visitors to use all major credit cards or their PayPal account. PayPal has invested heavily in the security of their service and it is frequently used by internet users world wide. To get more information about PayPal, visit their site at www.paypal.ca.
