Businesses and organizations can now have their logo and a link to their website added to the library’s popular website. In a month there are more than 150,000 visits to our informative and helpful website with over 175,000 pages viewed by visitors.

Featured sponsors will be added on our Home Page at www.nflibrary.ca , on our Historic Niagara Digital Collections at www.nflibrary.ca/nfplindex and on each of its 280,000 pages.

The high number of daily visitors to our library website is because it is such a large and significant website which is fully indexed by Google.

The cost is $200 per month. The Niagara Falls Public Library Board reserves the right to reject any application. Businesses or organizations must supply a medium to high resolution digital image of your logo and a URL to link to your website. Contact Chief Librarian Joe Longo for more information online or 905-356-8080.

This is another unique fundraising initiative of the Library Board. The Library has many needs which can not be met fully through our operating budget. Whether additional books or new meeting room chairs need to be purchased, initiatives such as this help improve library service to our community. In a typical week more than 10,000 people come to the Niagara Falls Public Library. More than 40,000 people are active borrowers.

The Library continues to sell local history books as a fundraiser. These include "A Century of Sports in Niagara Falls" by Frank Long for $21, "The Niagara Portage Road : 200 years 1790-1990" by George A. Seibel for $25 and three books by Sherman Zavitz “The Niagara River: The Ontario Shore for $25, “It Happened at Niagara - first and second series for $17 . The CD-ROM of “ Images of a Century: City of Niagara Falls 1904-2004" sells for $17.25. Tax is included in all prices.

The Library is a registered charity and gives income tax receipts for cash donations over $10. A donation of $300 or more will have your name, or the name of a loved one, added to the Tree of Knowledge in the lobby of the Victoria Avenue Library or on any of the donors’ plaques at Chippawa, Stamford or Community Centre branch libraries.

If you go to the check-out desk at each of our four libraries and make a donation of $2 or more we’ll even give you a free book bag.
