We will soon be re-designing the library’s popular website www.nfpl.library.on.ca and we would like the public to design a banner for the “Teen” section.

The Library logo should be included and can be colourized. Entries can be emailed to teenbanner@nflibrary.ca or delivered to 4848 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls by January 15, 2008. You may also request a copy of the logo at that email address. Images can be original artwork or photographic.

The rules for image submissions are:
1. YOU MUST HAVE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGE, or it must be in the Public Domain. By submitting your entry to us you affirm that you have Copyright control over the image(s) submitted, and/or the images are Public Domain. We may ask you for proof.

2. The images should be submitted in a standard, commonly-used image format (such as TIFF, PNG, bitmap, etc.). Please refrain from using lossy compression formats (such as .jpeg) so the images may be manipulated to incorporate them into the website.

3. If the image(s) are taken by digital camera, please ensure that the image(s) are bright and clear.

The website colours are black, white, and gray with a touch of red so submissions should try to incorporate these colours.

The Libraries will be closed on Dec. 23, Dec. 24 at 1pm, Dec. 25, Dec. 26, Dec. 31 at 1 pm and Jan. 1.

Please note that Chippawa Branch Library will be open on Dec. 24 from 9 am - 1pm, Dec. 29 from 10am to 4pm and Dec. 31 from 9am to 1pm.

Come on Sunday Dec. 30 from 1 to 5pm to either the Victoria Avenue Library or Community Centre Branch to stock-up on books, music and dvds for your New Year’s celebrations.
