Big Screen Tuesday returns next week to the Victoria Avenue Library on Tuesday August 28th at 7pm. Our film will be 2012 British comedy/drama “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” directed by John Madden and based on the 2004 novel “These foolish things” by Deborah Moggach. Most of the filming actually took place in the Indian state of Rajasthan, including the cities of Jaipur and Udaipur and tells the story of a group of seven British retirees who end up coincidentally coming together as the first guests of the newly restored Marigold Hotel.
