Maps & atlases are useful both for locating lots and for descriptions of early towns, industries and historic buildings. Most are well illustrated and contain directories of business and professional people. These items can be viewed at the Reference & Information Services Department of the library located on Victoria Avenue. Due to the nature of these materials they cannot be borrowed and will not be made available through the InterLibrary Loan system. The library owns the complete set of illustrated historical atlases of Ontario counties for 1870-1880.
